About 340 people enjoyed a night of food and fashion to mark four years since The Colombo opened in Christchurch.
Models, including Lucy Wyma who wore an orange Annah Stretton dress, showcased designer clothing at the Thursday event at the boutique Sydenham retail centre.
Lilly Cooper, director of Cooper Developments, bought the former Spotlight Mall in December 2010 and appointed her daughter, Caroline, to take charge of the mall’s redevelopment, which included quake-strengthening.
Stage two of The Colombo will soon add about 1000 square metres of space for tenants.
The first part of stage two will open from the end of next month.
Cooper-Dixon expected new developments to return along the retail frontage of Colombo St, including the development of new office space in a nearby multilevel building that was once a base for Work and Income NZ.
